Oprah’s Lifeclass Tour with Deepak Chopra…….~~ Wow ~~
When I first watched this Lifeclass on Monday I was transcending high above the cloud; it was actually hard to type and put all that I was feeling in words.
I was transcending because I her class is the reason why I have created my blog ~Inspired Thought Inspired Action ~
I made this blog with this purpose:
~ To allow God and philosophy to lead my steps. ~
I have made this my purpose in life because I no longer make decisions for myself. I let the words of the wise that came before direct my actions now because I can no longer trust the decisions I make on my own because I have found myself inconsistently happy physically, spiritually, financially, relationally, and socially. And I acknowledge that it was because I was so unaware and so misguided that I need to stop being my own leader and seek help from those who know so much better than I do.
Any yesterday……I think of yesterday’s Lifeclass and still I must say “My God”….”My sweet God”….I am **floating**, I literally feel like my spirit is transcending…..we call it a “AHAOrgasm”….but I will keep it PG….I am floating in such a great state of awareness that inspires me furthermore to align my steps to Gods words and wisdom from our fellow human beings to walk towards better days to come Spiritually, Relationally, Socially, Physically and Financially.

Don’t be distracted by criticism. Remember –the only taste of success some people have is when they take a bite out of you. -Zig Ziglar
I needed these words from Zig Ziglar. I needed them since I was 14. I desperately needed those words of awareness before, during and after I was bullied because I was such an easy victim; I did not have a voice; I didn’t know how to stand up for myself.
The more I lowered my eyes, the more I lowered my head, the more my shoulders shrunk, the more I gave my bully the opportunity to take a bite out of me. And because of her I carried this spirit of easy prey to the high school I transfered to all the way to the end of my senior year as my own bully.
His words now help me see and understand, that it was the easiest taste of success for her. Because she was not known for being a well accomplished student in my class and so she made a choice, a choice to be best known for her ability to dominate others. To get a good laugh for her own pleasure and for those who got a kick out of it in her circle of friends.
I am now more at peace with my past because of these words.
I no longer allow my past experience to direct my eyes down to the ground when I feel intimidated.
I no longer allow my past experience to lower my head when a manager finds that I am not one to shout back and disrespect him just because he shouts and disrespects me.
I no longer allow my past experience to shrink my shoulders in when I hear strangers laugh behind me.
I am now happy to have read such wise words now rather than wish to have read them when I felt I needed them the most because such a hurtful experience taught me a great lesson.
To do unto others even when others do not do unto you. Because it is right. And so I have no reason to allow them to fill like they’ve won.
